On November 27, Li Chao, the Deputy Director of the Policy Research Office at the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), emphasized at a press conference that striking a balance between "speed" and "avoiding bubbles" is crucial in the development of cutting-edge industries. This principle applies equally to the embodied intelligence sector. In recent years, propelled by innovation and the release of market demand, the embodied intelligence industry—exemplified by humanoid robots—has witnessed rapid growth, surpassing a 50% annual growth rate. Market research institutions forecast that by 2030, the market size of this industry will soar to hundreds of billions of yuan.

However, Li Chao pointed out that the technical pathways, commercialization strategies, and application scenarios for humanoid robots are still in their nascent stages of development. With the rapid influx of venture capital, the number of humanoid robot companies in China has surged past 150 and continues to climb, with over half being startups or firms venturing into the field from other industries. While this trend fosters innovation, it also necessitates vigilance against potential risks, such as a high degree of product similarity and a constrained space for research and development.
