A joint announcement on November 19th revealed that AMD, Cisco, and HUMAIN, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, will jointly invest to establish a joint venture with the goal of deploying up to 1 gigawatt of AI infrastructure by 2030. The joint venture is expected to commence operations in 2026, with the initial phase deploying 100 megawatts of infrastructure, utilizing HUMAIN's modern data center capacity, AMD Instinct™ MI450 series GPUs, and Cisco's critical infrastructure solutions.
