Nokia is capitalizing on the burgeoning artificial intelligence (AI) trend by streamlining its business operations and honing in on network infrastructure that links AI data centers. The company anticipates achieving double-digit growth in operating profits over the next few years. On Wednesday, during its Capital Markets Day event, Nokia unveiled its projection that annual operating profits would soar to between €2.7 billion and €3.2 billion by 2028. Interestingly, on the same day, Nokia's share price plummeted by as much as 6.3% in Helsinki, marking its fifth straight day of decline. Prior to this, NVIDIA's acquisition of a stake had fueled a substantial surge in Nokia's stock price. However, subsequent apprehensions regarding an AI bubble caused a partial reversal of those gains.
