On November 19, merely three days following its public beta release, Alibaba's QianWen App underwent a swift upgrade, unveiling a cutting-edge real-time translation feature. Built upon the robust Qwen model, this function enables seamless content translation across 119 languages, encompassing Chinese and English among others. It effectively covers the languages spoken by over 98% of the world's population, making it highly inclusive and globally relevant.
This particular upgrade is designed to cater to four primary usage scenarios: text translation, image translation, simultaneous interpretation, and face-to-face translation. In each of these scenarios, users can expect to receive translation results that are not only professional but also exhibit a high degree of coherence, ensuring smooth and effective communication across language barriers.
