Recently, Yeadiance and Alibaba Cloud made a joint announcement regarding the signing of a framework cooperation agreement, aimed at propelling the overseas expansion of AI-driven animated dramas. Both entities are set to pool their resources and capitalize on each other's strengths to craft a comprehensive, end-to-end vertical solution. This solution will span the entire spectrum of AI animated drama's global outreach, encompassing foundational computing power support, enhancement of content production capabilities, marketing monetization, and commercialization. This marks the establishment of China's inaugural growth engine dedicated to accelerating the overseas footprint of AI animated dramas.
The year 2025 is heralded as the dawn of AI animated dramas. Data reveals that over the past six months, an average of over 110 dramas have been invested in weekly, culminating in a cumulative launch of 3,000 works. This represents a staggering 603% month-on-month increase. The compound growth rates for user views and likes have soared to 92% and 105%, respectively. The meteoric rise of the domestic animated drama sector has spurred the expansion of overseas teams. Projections indicate that by 2025, the scale of China's animation exports will surpass 20 billion yuan, with the total number of overseas users surging from 20 million in 2020 to 50 million, and the market share in Southeast Asia reaching 35%.
However, the overseas market poses greater complexity and diversity in terms of foundational computing power support, localized content creation, marketing growth, and commercialization monetization. The collaboration between Yeadiance and Alibaba Cloud is designed to leverage marketing growth and commercialization monetization as driving forces, facilitating the swift overseas expansion of AI animated dramas. It aims to provide infrastructure support and foster the growth and revenue of AI animated dramas, AI live-action dramas, and a broader spectrum of AI content in the global marketplace.
Yeadiance has been deeply entrenched in the overseas expansion domain for over a decade, offering overseas marketing services to numerous leading companies and amassing invaluable experience. On the other hand, Alibaba Cloud has established a global footprint with 29 public cloud regions spanning more than 70 countries, encompassing 87 availability zones and thousands of edge nodes. It caters to 250,000 overseas enterprises, has secured over 150 local certifications for data compliance and security worldwide, and boasts profound expertise in AI computing power localization requirements, dynamic scheduling, and compliance services.
The synergy between the two parties is poised to effectively tackle the core industry challenges in the overseas expansion of AI animated dramas, ranging from production capacity enhancement to growth monetization.
