Mozilla has recently made an announcement regarding its independent web browser, Firefox. The browser is set to introduce an innovative artificial intelligence (AI) browsing feature known as the 'AI Window'. This new feature seamlessly integrates an AI assistant with a chatbot, with the overarching goal of crafting an intelligent and user-centric browsing environment.
At present, the 'AI Window' feature is in the public development phase. Mozilla is taking an active approach by gathering user feedback to fine-tune and enhance the overall user experience. In the Firefox 144 version, several AI-driven features have already been rolled out. These include a visual search function and the AI-powered search engine, Perplexity. Nevertheless, the default activation of these AI features has sparked concerns among some users, particularly regarding privacy issues and potential impacts on browser performance.
