During the third quarter of 2025, Tencent reported a capital expenditure of RMB 12.983 billion, marking a decrease from the RMB 17.094 billion recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year. In the last year, Tencent's capital expenditure represented 12% of its overall revenue. While it is anticipated that the proportion of capital expenditure allocated to artificial intelligence in relation to revenue will continue to hover around the double-digit mark in 2025, the total capital expenditure for the current year is likely to fall short of earlier forecasts.
