The most recent assessment conducted by the AI research institution Andon Labs has unveiled that robot vacuum cleaners outfitted with cutting-edge, large-scale AI models struggle significantly when it comes to carrying out intricate household chores. Their success rates are notably inferior to those achieved by humans. During the experiment, the robots were tasked with following multi-step instructions. These instructions encompassed navigating across rooms, accurately identifying different types of butter packaging, pinpointing the locations of moving humans, successfully completing delivery tasks, and then returning to their charging stations. The outcomes of the study clearly highlighted the robots' constrained abilities in fully accomplishing these tasks.
