On October 12, reports surfaced that vivo had recently convened its 2025 Developer Conference at the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center. Coinciding with the company's 30th anniversary, vivo took the opportunity to spotlight its latest advancements in operating systems and artificial intelligence. The event's standout moments included the unveiling of the brand-new OriginOS 6, BlueOS 3, and the enhanced BlueLM AI strategy.
OriginOS 6 is outfitted with vivo's proprietary BlueRiver Fluid Engine, which undergoes a thorough redesign of the three fundamental modules: computing, storage, and display. This overhaul ensures users enjoy a seamless, lightweight, intuitive, and pleasant experience. On the other hand, BlueOS 3 is tailored for AI-native devices, with its entire codebase written in Rust, delivering heightened security and dependability.
Furthermore, vivo also introduced the upgraded BlueLM AI strategy. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies like the 3-billion-parameter (3B) on-device multimodal reasoning large model, this strategy aims to provide users with a more customized and intelligent service experience.
