At the premier event of the 2025 China Mobile Global Partners Conference, China Mobile formally introduced the upgraded iteration of its 'AI Plus' action plan, alongside the launch of the 'AI Plus' ecosystem alliance. By the close of 2028, China Mobile is set to significantly ramp up its investments in the artificial intelligence domain, with plans to double its overall expenditure. This strategic move aims to construct a cutting-edge, domestically premier intelligent computing infrastructure and to pioneer the development of a 100,000-card-scale intelligent computing cluster. Such endeavors are expected to propel the scale of domestic intelligent computing capabilities beyond 100 EFLOPS (exaFLOPS, a unit of computing speed).
Concurrently, China Mobile will strive to elevate the Jiutian Large Model to a global top-tier standing, offering it as a 'Model as a Service' (MaaS) solution. Furthermore, the company is committed to bolstering the availability of high-quality datasets across 15 key industries, reinforcing the cultivation of AI talent pools, and fostering collaborative efforts with industry stakeholders to steer the evolution of intelligent technologies towards outcomes that are advantageous, secure, and controllable.
