Media reports indicate that Apple is the subject of an investigation by Paris prosecutors. The investigation centers on allegations that Apple collected and utilized a substantial volume of Siri recordings without users being aware of it. In February of this year, the French Human Rights League submitted a report. This report was mainly founded on the testimony of Bonnière, a former staff member of an Apple outsourcing firm. Bonnière, who was engaged in the analysis of Siri recordings, disclosed that the surreptitiously recorded audio clips encompassed private instances and sensitive data. In some cases, these recordings were so detailed that they could even be used to identify specific users.
