The Google Photos app has recently embarked on testing a novel feature. This feature empowers users to enter customized prompts at the base of the 'Image to Video' interface, enabling them to directly steer the course of AI-generated videos. In the past, users were limited to relying on random selections like 'Add Subtle Motion' or 'I’m Feeling Lucky.' This made it challenging to exert precise control over the video content. Initially rolled out in July, this particular feature transforms static photos into 6-second short clips through the utilization of the Veo 2 model. Now, having been upgraded to the Veo 3 model, it boasts a substantial improvement in image quality and allows for seamless switching between horizontal and vertical screen orientations.
