Ant Open Source, in collaboration with Inclusion AI, has rolled out the 2.0 version of a comprehensive report. This report offers a panoramic overview of open-source projects and provides insights into the trends within the ecosystem for large model development. Initially, it drew on Ant Group's internal insights into technology trends, and now, the data underpinning this report is sourced from the open-source community.

The panoramic section of the report encompasses 114 widely-used open-source projects spanning 22 technical domains. These projects are primarily categorized into two major directions: AI Agent and AI Infra. Globally, around 360,000 developers are actively involved in these projects, with Chinese and U.S. developers accounting for over 40% of the core contributions. It's worth noting that there are distinct differences in the open-source strategies for large models adopted by leading companies in China and the U.S.

The report also underscores that 62% of the open-source projects emerged after the 'GPT Moment,' boasting an average 'age' of a mere 30 months. This statistic vividly reflects the swift pace of iteration within the AI open-source ecosystem. Moreover, AI programming tools have witnessed explosive growth.
