Meituan has forged a partnership with Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport to roll out China's inaugural intelligent food delivery service within an airport setting. Travelers can conveniently place their orders via the Meituan platform, and the in-house - developed robot, aptly named "Yellow Hornet," will swiftly deliver the meals right to their designated boarding gates. At present, renowned brands like Starbucks have already become part of this innovative service. Prior to this, the "Yellow Hornet" robot had successfully completed pilot trials in several parks across Shenzhen and Shanghai, amassing a total delivery volume of over 10,000 orders. This launch not only signifies Meituan's foray into incorporating airport scenarios into its delivery network but also represents the first-ever deployment of the "Yellow Hornet" in a large-scale transportation hub.
