UBTECH and the international investment firm Infini Capital have officially inked a $1 billion strategic partnership cooperation agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Infini Capital will extend strategic financing support to UBTECH through diverse means, including equity placements, convertible bond subscriptions, and the granting of cash withdrawal rights. Furthermore, both parties envisage increasing their respective holdings in UBTECH shares at an opportune time, aiming for a stake not exceeding 5%. Additionally, the partners plan to jointly invest in the upstream and downstream sectors of the humanoid robot industry, collaborating to expand their presence in the Middle East market. This includes the establishment of a joint venture company with the ambition to construct a state-of-the-art factory, a research and development center, and a Middle East headquarters in the region.
