Last year, Google introduced the Vids video editor as part of its Google Workplace suite. This Wednesday, the company further enriched Vids with AI avatar integration, automatic subtitle cropping, image-to-video conversion, and additional features. Simultaneously, Google launched a free, basic version tailored for consumer use. This consumer-oriented version provides essential editing tools and grants access to Google's extensive collection of templates, fonts, and material libraries. However, it does not currently support AI-driven features.
