Between August 26th and 27th, 2025, Minister of Science and Technology Yin Hejun embarked on a visit to Macao, with the primary objective of fostering enhanced coordination in scientific and technological innovation between the Mainland and Macao. During his visit, Minister Yin engaged in profound discussions with Mr. Ho Fai Sam, the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, touching upon topics that included deepening scientific and technological collaboration and bolstering the diversified economic growth of Macao. As part of his itinerary, Minister Yin also presented a commemorative plaque to the revamped National Key Laboratory located in Macao.

Yin Hejun emphasized that National Key Laboratories serve as indispensable components of the nation's strategic scientific and technological prowess. He underscored the importance of these laboratories actively integrating into the national innovation system, thereby leveraging scientific and technological innovation to propel the economic and social advancement of Macao.
