On August 25, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) elevated the emergency response for heavy rain to Level III. Forecasts predict that from the evening of August 25 to August 28, numerous regions in northern China will experience significant rainfall, with torrential or heavy rain expected in parts of the eastern sections of Northwest China and North China. This precipitation will be accompanied by severe convective weather. Southern Gansu, the eastern portion of the Hetao region in Inner Mongolia, and central Hebei are among the areas anticipated to be impacted by heavy rain.
