On the 19th, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, along with two other departments, announced the "Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Development of 'AI+Manufacturing' in Shanghai." The objective of this plan is to foster a deeper integration of artificial intelligence and the manufacturing industry, thereby strengthening new-type industrialization. The plan introduces the "Modeling Shanghai City·AI+Manufacturing" initiative, which envisions elevating the level of intelligence in the manufacturing sector within three years and achieving groundbreaking advancements in domains such as data corpora, models, platforms, and application scenarios. This endeavor is anticipated to foster new-quality productive forces and propel the high-quality development of Shanghai's manufacturing industry.
