China has emerged as a pioneer in categorizing data as a crucial production factor. By the end of June this year, the country had established over 35,000 high-quality datasets, amounting to 140 times the digital resources held by the National Library of China. This substantial collection has firmly established the groundwork for AI training. Presently, Chinese data contributes to over 60% of domestic AI model training, with certain models utilizing up to 80% Chinese data. The relentless advancement in the development and availability of high-quality Chinese data has markedly enhanced the performance of locally produced AI models. Since the inception of the 14th Five-Year Plan, China's overall AI capabilities have witnessed a remarkable leap, with the number of patents accounting for 60% of the global total. Additionally, the nation has achieved continuous breakthroughs in areas such as humanoid robots and smart terminals.
