Kuaishou's Organizational Restructuring: Gai Kun, Senior Vice President, Assumes Dual Role as Head of Keling AI Technology Department

Kuaishou has unveiled an organizational restructuring initiative, naming Senior Vice President Gai Kun to concurrently head the Keling AI Technology Department. Gai Kun, a Tsinghua University alumnus, boasts a background at Alibaba and joined Kuaishou in 2020, where he has spearheaded numerous AI technology projects. In June 2024, his team pioneered the world's first publicly accessible DiT video generation model, "Keling AI." This year in April, Keling AI was elevated to a primary business unit, marking a significant strategic shift. To date, Keling AI has undergone over 30 enhancements, serving more than 20,000 enterprise clients and reaching a global user base of 45 million.
