Recently, the first agricultural-specific SoC chip in China based on the Loongson Architecture, 'Nongxin No.1,' jointly developed by Loongson Technology and Jiangsu University, has been successfully taped out. This chip is tailored for scenarios such as precision agriculture, smart greenhouses, and intelligent agricultural machinery. It addresses key pain points in smart agriculture, including reliance on imported chips, poor environmental adaptability, and interface mismatches, providing independent and controllable underlying computing power support for agricultural modernization.
