On June 12th, Jiangsu University, in collaboration with Loongson Technology, unveiled China's pioneering agriculture-specific SoC chip, dubbed "Nongxin No.1," which is constructed on the Loongson architecture. This innovative chip is meticulously designed to cater to precision agriculture applications, smart greenhouse systems, and intelligent agricultural machinery. It effectively tackles prevalent challenges in the realm of smart agriculture, including heavy reliance on imported chips, limited environmental adaptability, and interface incompatibility, thereby guaranteeing the reliable and consistent performance of agricultural equipment.
