On June 12, a fire broke out in the gas chamber on the second floor of the M15X factory in the fourth campus of SK Hynix in Cheongju, South Korea. The fire has been initially contained, with no casualties reported, and production equipment is operating normally. SK Hynix is investigating the cause and impact of the fire. This is the second fire at the campus this month, following a previous incident on June 1 that also resulted in a fluorine gas leak.
