On the morning of June 12, storage chip concept stocks demonstrated robust performance. Biwin Storage (688525.SH) witnessed its stock price soar nearly 10% during intraday trading, hitting an all-time high of RMB 358.86, and its total market capitalization neared RMB 170 billion. As of the time of reporting, Biwin Storage had risen by 6.65%, with its stock price at RMB 345.84 and a total market capitalization of approximately RMB 163 billion. Previously, Biwin Storage announced on the evening of June 9 that it had inked a large-scale procurement contract with a certain original storage manufacturer. The total contract value amounted to USD 1.861 billion (approximately RMB 12.6 billion) for the purchase of enterprise-grade flash memory chips. The contract spans 24 months and secures both procurement volumes and prices. Unlike typical long-term supply agreements (LTAs) prevalent in the market, the contract signed by Biwin Storage features fixed prices that remain impervious to market price fluctuations. Biwin Storage stated that this strategic move helps guarantee medium- to long-term production capacity and delivery schedules for storage chips while mitigating the risk of supply chain disruptions. In terms of financial performance, Biwin Storage reported operating revenue of RMB 6.814 billion in the first quarter of 2026, marking a year-on-year increase of 341.53%. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached RMB 2.899 billion, reversing a year-on-year loss into a profit. The company attributed the significant growth in performance primarily to the explosive demand for AI computing power, which has propelled the storage industry into a high-growth phase, with robust market demand driving product prices steadily upward.
