According to data released by South Korean customs on Thursday, the nation witnessed a remarkable surge in its export volume during the initial 10 days of June. Specifically, exports soared by 86% compared to the same period last year, climbing from USD 15.4 billion to USD 28.6 billion, marking a new record high for a 10-day export period. In the same timeframe, imports also saw an increase, rising by 35.6% year-on-year to reach USD 23.4 billion, ultimately leading to a trade surplus of USD 5.28 billion.
