China's power battery loading volume hit 55.9GWh in July, recording a 4.0% decrease from the previous month but a robust 34.3% year-on-year growth. Specifically, ternary batteries loaded 10.9GWh, up 1.9% from June but down 3.8% compared to the same period last year. Lithium iron phosphate batteries, on the other hand, loaded 44.9GWh, a 5.3% decrease from the previous month but a significant 49.0% surge year-on-year. Over the first seven months of 2023, the cumulative loading volume of power batteries amounted to 355.4GWh, an impressive 45.1% increase from the same period in 2022. Within this, ternary batteries saw a cumulative loading volume of 66.5GWh, a 9.7% decline year-on-year, whereas lithium iron phosphate batteries witnessed a cumulative loading volume of 288.9GWh, marking a robust 68.8% year-on-year growth.
