Chen Shihua, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, recently revealed that new energy vehicles have emerged as the primary catalyst for the surge in automobile exports. According to July data, exports of traditional fuel vehicles stood at 350,000 units, marking a 9.6% decrease from the previous month and a 4.3% decline compared to the same period last year. In contrast, new energy vehicle exports reached 225,000 units, witnessing a 10% month-on-month increase and a 1.2-fold jump year-on-year.
