Recent rumors suggested that the smart driving teams from Zeekr, the Geely Research Institute, and Megvii's "MaxDrive" would be consolidated into Chongqing Qianli Smart Driving Technology Co., Ltd., involving approximately 3,000 personnel. On August 5, Geely Auto Group officially acknowledged that significant adjustments are indeed being contemplated in the realm of smart driving, but emphasized that the integration plan and the exact headcount involved have not been finalized. All parties are currently engaged in ongoing discussions. Qianli Smart Driving, designated as the integration platform, aims to amalgamate superior resources for accelerating the innovation and deployment of advanced driver assistance systems.
