On August 5th, Nissan disclosed, through a document and an internal email, that the company has commenced negotiations with labor unions representing staff at its European offices regarding job cuts and other restructuring measures. The Japanese automotive giant is currently navigating challenging times and has embarked on a substantial reorganization effort. Nissan has confirmed that it has engaged in consultations with employee representatives on these pertinent issues. Nissan Motor Europe, based in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France, employs approximately 560 individuals and is set to undergo significant changes. Furthermore, this office oversees Nissan's operations in Africa, the Middle East, India, and Oceania.
