On August 5, BYD proudly announced a groundbreaking evolution in its fifth-generation DM technology, marking a 10% reduction in fuel consumption to an impressive 2.6 liters per 100 kilometers under NEDC conditions when the battery is fully depleted. This remarkable achievement has been officially certified by the National Automobile Quality Inspection and Testing Center (Guangdong), establishing a new global benchmark for the lowest fuel consumption in zero-electric driving mode.
