Li Auto has unveiled its maiden pure electric SUV, the Li Xiang i8, and during the launch event, presented a video showcasing a series of rigorous heavy truck crash tests. The results demonstrated that following both frontal and side impacts, the Li Xiang i8's body structure remained undamaged, airbags deployed as intended, no battery leakage or fire occurred, and the doors automatically unlocked. Notably, the trucks utilized in these tests were randomly acquired from the market, ensuring authenticity, and the testing was conducted independently by a reputable third-party institution. The Li Xiang i8's development standards adhere to multiple safety rating requirements and encompass a wide range of extreme scenario tests, reflecting a commitment to comprehensive safety.
