Currently, all assisted driving functions operate at Level L2, necessitating constant driver supervision throughout the journey. Unchecked trust in these systems can result in accidents. Recently, the Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security revealed an incident: On July 25th, on the Hubei Huangmei section of the Hu-Yu Expressway, Mr. Zhou was navigating a curve when he placed undue trust in the assisted driving feature. This misplaced reliance caused the vehicle to stray from its intended path and collide with the left guardrail. While the vehicle sustained significant damage, fortunately, Mr. Zhou escaped unharmed.
