Xiaopeng Motors is currently devising a cost-reduction strategy for its G6 model, aiming to slash costs by RMB 10,000 to 20,000 per unit. Production of the cost-optimized G6, codenamed F30be, is slated to commence in the fourth quarter of this year. This reduction will primarily be achieved by switching parts suppliers, while maintaining the core selling points of the vehicle unchanged. Currently, the G6 is priced between RMB 176,800 and RMB 198,800, with the high-end variant exceeding the starting price of the G7. Looking ahead, Xiaopeng's SUV lineup will expand to at least four models by next year. Among these, the new model codenamed D03 is positioned similarly to the MONA M03, with an anticipated price range of RMB 119,800 to 139,800. Furthermore, Xiaopeng intends to introduce multiple extended-range hybrid models based on the 800V platform, including an extended-range variant of the G6.
