On July 23, Dongchedi, in collaboration with CCTV News, unveiled a series of videos titled "Dongche Intelligent Refinery." These videos featured rigorous testing of nearly 40 popular models from over 20 brands on the market, all equipped with comprehensive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features. The tests were meticulously conducted on closed roads, simulating 15 distinct high-risk ADAS accident scenarios typically encountered in urban areas and on highways.
The findings were striking: the average pass rate across all tested models stood at a mere 35.74%, revealing a concerning performance gap. Furthermore, not a single model was able to achieve a perfect score, passing all tests flawlessly. This underscores the need for ongoing advancements and improvements in ADAS technology to enhance road safety.
