On July 24, a suspected out-of-control incident involving a BYD Han EV took place in the parking lot of Chengdu Tianfu Airport. According to reports, the vehicle suddenly lost control during operation, failed to brake normally, and spun continuously for approximately 30 to 40 revolutions in the parking lot. The driver promptly contacted the traffic police and the vehicle manufacturer, and the car was eventually brought to a halt through remote control measures. Police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances were dispatched to the scene to handle the situation. Currently, BYD has stated that it is actively investigating the incident, and the exact cause of the loss of control remains undetermined.
