During June 2025, production of lithium carbonate rose, while production of lithium hydroxide remained consistent. The overall production of lithium salts maintained stability in the first half of the year, partly attributed to shutdowns and maintenance at certain facilities. A decline in product prices dampened enterprises' willingness to sell, consequently resulting in increased inventory levels. On the demand side, the production and sales of new energy vehicles, as well as the installed capacity of power batteries, witnessed rapid growth. Notably, the proportion of lithium iron phosphate in battery loading increased, and the retail penetration rate of new energy vehicles continued to climb.
