Stellantis revealed on Tuesday its intention to commence sales of the C10 model, a creation of the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Leapmotor, in South Africa from September onwards. The C10, an electric SUV, incorporates a gasoline engine specifically tailored for battery recharging purposes. Mike Whitfield, the Managing Director of Stellantis for South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, anticipates the launch of additional Leapmotor models, including pure electric vehicles, in the coming year.
