On July 21st, WeRide collaborated with Lenovo Automotive Computing to introduce the HPC 3.0 High-Performance Computing Platform. This state-of-the-art platform is powered by NVIDIA's latest DRIVE Thor X chip and marks its debut on WeRide's next-generation Robotaxi, the GXR. Consequently, the GXR stands as the world's first Robotaxi to integrate this cutting-edge chip. The HPC 3.0 platform, designed exclusively for automotive applications, achieves a 50% reduction in the cost of the GXR's autonomous driving system, paving the way for its expedited large-scale commercial deployment.
