Joyu Technology (formerly known as DJI Automotive) is currently engaged in discussions with FAW Group regarding a strategic investment of more than US$800 million. Post-investment, Joyu's valuation is anticipated to surpass RMB10 billion. Notably, FAW will participate in the investment without seeking a controlling stake or consolidation, allowing Joyu to maintain its independent operations. To date, Joyu has secured investments from at least four leading automakers, including FAW, BYD, SAIC, and BAIC, and has forged cooperative ties with numerous other automakers. By April 2025, Joyu had achieved mass production of over 20 models, with an additional 30 models poised for imminent release. At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, Joyu showcased its latest technological advancements, further solidifying its position in the industry.
