The global race towards automotive intelligence is accelerating, with China at the forefront, boasting a penetration rate of over 50% for L2-level assisted driving technology—the highest in the world. Furthermore, advanced features like parking assistance in mid-to-high-end vehicles have surpassed a 20% penetration mark. Zhang Yongwei, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Electric Vehicle Hundred People Forum, emphasized that while China's automotive industry has made remarkable strides in both electrification and intelligentization, there is still room to consolidate its competitive edge. This translates to one out of every two new cars sold in China being equipped with L2-level assisted driving technology. This year, BYD's mantra of "Intelligent Driving for All" has propelled assisted driving technology to new heights, making it a pivotal factor in consumers' purchasing decisions.
