Executives from Ideal Auto have addressed the extended delivery times for the MEGA model, informing customers that they may currently expect a wait of two months or longer for their orders. Initially, the company anticipated a maximum production capacity of 1,650 units tailored for the MPV market, with vehicles priced above 500,000 yuan. However, market demand surpassed these expectations. In response, Ideal Auto is urgently scaling up production, aiming to increase output from 3,000 units in July to 3,300 units or more in August.
Prior to this, Ideal Auto had provisioned a production capacity of 8,000 units for the MEGA model. However, due to initially lower-than-anticipated sales, a portion of this capacity was reallocated to partners. The company is now fully focused on enhancing delivery efficiency to minimize customer wait times.
