Li Auto announced on July 17 that pre-orders for its latest i8 model are now open, with an anticipated price range of RMB 350,000 to RMB 400,000. The official pricing will be revealed during a launch event scheduled for July 29. Customers who pre-order before this event will receive priority delivery. Li Xiang, CEO of Li Auto, shared that while the company currently employs both small and large pre-order sales models, the long-term aspiration is to facilitate direct sales on the official website, eliminating the need for deposits and launch events. Furthermore, the first wave of media reviews for the Li Auto i8 will be progressively released, and starting July 18, actual vehicles will be on display at 102 retail centers across 56 cities nationwide.
