Jiangling Ford is poised to introduce its latest innovation, the Bronco EV, offering both extended-range and pure electric variants. Scheduled for a Chinese market debut in the fourth quarter of this year, the new model promises a blend of style and performance. The exterior design is marked by a sporty aesthetic, highlighted by a refreshed headlight assembly with an illuminated 'BRONCO' emblem, a streamlined air duct, and a striking 'Inferno Orange' paint scheme. The rear of the vehicle maintains the iconic vertical taillight setup, complete with a clear lens cover, an external spare tire, and a side-hinged tailgate. Furthermore, the Bronco EV incorporates hidden door handles and a range of wheel options to cater to individual preferences. Dimensionally, the extended-range model measures 5025/1960/1825mm (length/width/height), while the pure electric variant differs slightly in height. Both share a generous wheelbase of 2950mm. Technologically advanced, the vehicle is equipped with lidar and high-precision sensors, enabling sophisticated driver assistance features. Under the hood, the extended-range model boasts an 110kW range extender coupled with a dual-motor system, delivering a pure electric range of 220 kilometers. Conversely, the pure electric version offers a dual-motor four-wheel drive system with an impressive range of up to 650 kilometers, along with support for fast charging technology.
