On July 15th, Tesla celebrated a historic milestone in India with the grand opening of its first showroom in the BKC Business District of Mumbai, accompanied by a tantalizing teaser trailer. The Tesla Model Y will enter the Indian market with a starting price of 6 million Indian rupees (roughly equivalent to $69,765.82). Specifically, the rear-wheel-drive variant is priced at 6 million rupees, while the long-range version commands a price of 6.8 million rupees. For comparison, the Model Y retails for $44,990 in the United States, 263,500 Chinese yuan in China, and 45,970 euros in Germany.
