At the 12th World High-Speed Rail Conference held in Beijing, China made a groundbreaking debut with its superconducting electric high-speed maglev train, capable of reaching speeds of up to 600 kilometers per hour. According to a senior engineer from CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd., the train operates contactlessly through the innovative interaction between its onboard superconducting magnets and the coils embedded in the track. This technological milestone signifies substantial advancements in China's pursuit of high-speed maglev transportation.
