BYD commemorated a significant achievement with a ceremony at its Rayong factory in Thailand, marking the delivery of the 90,000th new energy vehicle and the first anniversary of the factory's operational production. At the event, the Denza D9 was presented as the flagship vehicle, while the first locally manufactured BYD Destroyer 05 emerged from the production line. BYD Chairman Wang Chuanfu himself bestowed the car keys to the President of the Football Association of Thailand. The Thai factory boasts an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles and has achieved full localization, employing 90% Thai nationals. As Thailand's inaugural plug-in hybrid model, the Destroyer 05 addresses a market gap and, alongside pure electric models, diversifies BYD's product offerings in the country.
