On July 1, amid widespread online discussions regarding an "L7 model from Li Auto catching fire in Guizhou," Liu Jie, Vice President of Li Auto, clarified that the fire incident was the result of an external fire source originating from a nearby hotel. On the afternoon of June 29, a fire erupted at a hotel in Zhijin, Guizhou, which subsequently spread to the parking area below. The flames ignited an L7 model from Li Auto, as well as a neighboring vehicle, after combustible materials fell from the hotel. Fortunately, the fire department promptly responded and extinguished the blaze, and no casualties were reported. Since its launch in March 2023, the sales of the Li Auto L7 have consistently risen. As of May 2025, cumulative deliveries have surpassed 300,000 units, positioning it as the leading sales performer among new energy vehicles priced above 300,000 yuan.
