BMW is pioneering the new generation of electric vehicles with the iX3, equipped with ultra-fast charging technology that boasts an impressive power output of up to 400 kW. This remarkable technology enables the vehicle to gain 350 km of driving range in a mere 10 minutes and to charge from 10% to 80% capacity within 20 minutes. Built on the advanced 800-volt platform, the iX3 is also compatible with 400-volt charging stations, offering a substantial range of 800 km under WLTP conditions. The North American variant of the iX3 will feature a NACS interface and will be manufactured at a facility in Mexico. Furthermore, BMW has ambitious plans to introduce the electric versions of the iX5 next year and the iX7 in 2027, both of which are slated for production at the company's South Carolina plant.
