Recently, a video depicting a Deep Blue new energy SUV undergoing thermal runaway while being serviced at a Changan 4S shop has garnered widespread attention. In the video, the SUV's chassis is suspended by a hydraulic lift, with the battery pack visibly spewing flames. Despite efforts by on-site staff to extinguish the fire using extinguishers, the results were unsatisfactory. Deep Blue Automobile has since issued a statement, asserting that the preliminary investigation points to operator error as the cause of the high-voltage short circuit and subsequent fire in the power battery. Currently, the affected vehicle has been quarantined for further inspection, and the technical team is diligently analyzing the root causes of the thermal runaway.
